MCLEOD, Betty…..

Peacefully at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care on Monday, August 10, 2015, Elizabeth “Betty” (Elsdon) McLeod of London in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Sam McLeod (2008). Loving mother of Hugh McLeod and his wife Jenny of Nairobi, Kenya and Neil McLeod of London. Cherished grandmother “Nanny” of Angie, Alexander, Ian, Alysha and Katie and great-grandmother of Margot. Predeceased by her siblings Bill, Johnny, Netta. The family would like to thank the VON (Home Nursing, Personal Support and Home Help) for keeping mom home for a long as possible and the staff at Mount Hope for all the loving care. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. James Westminster Church – Memorial Garden, 115 Askin Street, London ON N6C 1E7. A.     Hugh, Neil and family. Our deepest condolences in the loss of your mom. I have many treasured memories of her and your dad. They were truly special people. May God give you peace and comfort, and may she rest in peace
