My wonderful friend Ted, founder of Freddie & Co. Clown Unit, known throughout North America for the friendship he and Ruby shared within the Grottoes of North America, and in London for not only the clowns but his tireless efforts for William Mercer Wilson Centre, which are but two of his accomplishments. There are many of us who will miss our friend. I hope you now have peace, and that Ruby will feel our love for all that the two of you have done.
Very sorry to hear about Ted’s passing. Ruby you have our deepest condolences.

My Mother (Emily Parlee) and I worked with Ted at The Top of the Fair restaurant many years ago. Ted was always such a nice man. I have a very old picture of my mother, Emily Glazier, Ted, and two other waitresses at a restaurant that used to be on Dundas St. If you would like me to e-mail a copy just let me know. So sorry for your loss
To Mr. Savage’s family I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Savage’s passing. He was a loyal customer at a store I work in, and sadly I only knew him for a very short while. He would come in and make my day that’s for sure! He was without a doubt my favourite customer, and I lovingly referred to him as “my scooter man”. He was always so polite and appreciative. I will always remember him very fondly.
What a gentleman!
Rest in Peace.
Sending my sincere condolences to Ted’s family. He will long be remembered by the brethren at Xella Grotto.
In sympathy,
Greg
I never met Ted but he was related as he was my Grandads Brother (Charles Savage)
How sad to read of his passing, RIP x
