I will truly miss seeing Bill, though sightings hadn’t been frequent enough these last years. His amazing memory and sense of humour was a hallmark. I very much enjoyed chatting with him when we had the chance. It was a pleasure to have known him and I know he will be missed by many.

On behalf of the Holbrooks and the Fords, I send condolences. Another ‘salt of the earth’ icon of Egremont Road, has passed and we are all saddened. Bill was one of the most impressively bright, active and content 90-year olds that I have met; an example to us all.
Our deepest sympathy to the McRorie family. Murray ( Minielly & Williamson) has many happy memories of filling silo at the McRorie farm.
I am very sorry to hear of your father, grandfather and great grandfather’s passing. I worked with Bill at the Lambton County Office and respected his advice and leadership. He will be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. The lovely visit that we enjoyed with him at Chartwell’s after last summer’s family picnic means even more now. He was a wonderful gentleman and a valued connection to our family’s history. We will miss him.

Dear Marilyn and family;
Sorry to hear about the loss of Don’s father. We could not be there as we were in charge of the rummage sale at the church. Too many days have passed and we would still like to reminence if possible. Our sincere condolences.
