Sutherland, Robert Knox…
Peacefully in his sleep on Sunday December 14, 2014 at University Hospital, Bob Sutherland of London in his 90th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Audrey Sutherland. Loving father of Janet (Mike) Salter, Nancy Sutherland (Jim Blumsom) and David Sutherland. Cherished grandfather of Colin and Eric Salter and Matthew, Robert and Bradley McLellan. Also survived by his sister-in-law Sheila Sutherland. Uncle Bob will also be missed by his niece and nephews. Pre-deceased by his brothers David and Ronald. Bob served in WWII with the Royal Canadian Navy. He worked for Nortel for 40 years both in Montreal and London, was an avid golfer and card player in his retirement and a frequent ‘texter’ with his grandsons. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John The Divine Catholic Parish, 390 Baseline Road, West, London on Thursday, December 18th at 11am. Cremation with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Sunshine Foundation of Canada, 300 Wellington Street, Unit 100, London ON, N6B 2L5
or the Participation House Foundation, 620 Colborne Street, Suite 101, London ON, N6B 3R9
