On December 1, 2014 at Mount Hope Centre, Mary Shirley (Henderson) Ross in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Ross. Dear mother of Shirley Tilden and her husband John of Amherstburg, Janice Vella and her husband Charles of London and Jim Ross and his wife Anne of London. Proud grandmother of James Ross the 4th, Kim Weber, Carrie Burke and her husband James, Tamara McConnell and her husband Noel and David Tilden and his fiancee Jen. Great grandmother of Emily, Elizabeth and Abbygayle Weber, Lily McConnell, Reagan and Connor Burke and Jimmy and Caelan Ross. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9 P.M. Wednesday December 3, 2014 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday December 4th at 1:00 P.M. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Jim and I miss seeing Mary at her usual chair at Mt. Hope. She always had a cheerful ‘Hello Jim’ as we walked by and we usually had a short conversation with her. Our condolences to the family.
