Sleep well Lucy. No one deserves the rest more than you do. We will miss you.
To the family of Lucienne: I worked at the Royal Bank with your Mom for many years and she was a fantastic LADY! All the staff that attended our May lunch for us retirees will miss her. May she rest in peace and time help ease your loss.
I was quite sad to learn of the passing of mom’s “big sister” Lucienne.
She always spoke of her as a kindred spirit and one in whom she could always confide while growing up in Northeastern Ontario.
In many ways I feel they were very much alike. So much that I remember waking up in the middle of the night, as a child, while we were visiting and mistakenly calling her “mom”.
These are difficult times for those close to you, the ones who are left behind and at this moment my thoughts are with them. But I also feel strongly that you are but moving on to another chapter of your journey and that it will be a most fulfilling one.
I take comfort in thinking that Madeleine will have many things to share with you and will most likely have saved you a “good seat”.
Farewell aunt Lucienne
Affectionately
Your nephew
Pierre
Lucienne was a wonderful woman and I was very honored to know her at Masonville Manor. We shared many conversations and laughs. She will be dearly missed.
To the Family of Lucienne:
My sincere and heartfelt sympathy at the passing of your beloved Lucienne.
Lucienne and my mother, Audrey ,became very good friends at Masonville Manor. Lucienne was very compassionate and very helpful to my mother… Lucienne took very good care of Mom… assisting her with so very many tasks as Mom had very low vision.. and Mom was so appreciative of the fact that Lucienne was so patient with her in re-teaching Mom phrases in French ( that Mom had partially learned many years ago)…
I often played piano and harp at the residence and it was a joy to play Lucienne’s favourite.. “Un Canadien errant”
While we knew that Lucienne was not well.. and had been hospitalized .. it was unfortunate that we could not learn of details of her hospital location.. we would have visited her daily… but please know that she was always in our thoughts and prayers…
She was a very special person.. and so enriched our lives..
Sincerely,
Lyn Thompson and my Mom, Audrey..
Dear Noni,
You were an amazing grandmother to me.
I will always remember your strenght, and cherish your love and all the wonderful energy you had.
May God be nice to you, and may Nono and you rest quietly in peace together.
Your beloved grandson, Valentin.
