We were very saddened to hear of Aunt Maisie’s passing. She certainly enjoyed life to its fullest. We have great memories of our visits to her house and her visits to Newfoundland. Jillian and Jacob always enjoyed her company and remember when she would leave money under their pillow before she left to fly back home. One memorable story was when it was Jacob’s birthday and she was so happy to be here and have birthday cake with him and sing Happy Birthday. Aunt Maisie was singing so proud when Jacob told her to stop singing and Aunt Maisie looked so shocked. He told her to stop because it wasn’t her birthday it was his. She laughed so much she cried and she talked about it every time we saw her. We are certainly thinking of you all at this time and wish we could be there. So sorry to hear of Maisie’s passing. We met Maisie through Brad when he married our daughter Joanne. She always called us Mr and Mrs Ball. We had visits with her in Newfoundland and we also visited her in London, sitting around the pool drinking some refreshments. You will always have memories and many stories to tell.

Sorry to hear about Maisie’s passing. I wish I could be there but medical circumstances don’t allow me. After she left home when we were still young , we would walk to the post office every Christmas waiting for the many gifts she would send home. That was the hi lite of our Christmas! We always enjoyed her visits home and our visits to London. I have so many memories of the good times we shared together. I certainly miss her. Thinking of you all at this time. Sharon and Shawn you were the hilites of her life. Enjoy her memories.

Although many years ago, I remember many happy times at the Manuals house. My deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones! I hope her memories will bring comfort in time.
Dear Sharon,
My most sincere condolances. I send you loving thoughts of support.

So sad to hear of the passing of Aunt Masie. My mom has told many great stories and passed on memories of Masies kindness to her as a child in NL. I always enjoyed any visits with Aunt Masie and her carefree spirit. Things were never boring if she was around. I’m sure there will always be an empty place in your hearts Sharon and Shawn. I have enjoyed looking at all the pictures you have posted of Aunt Masie. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate her life.
Maisie just drew people around her wherever she went. At Highland CC for all her years she was a presence bigger than life. She lit up a room like no one else and she is so sadly missed by her legion of fans. She taught us how to enjoy the time we have. My sincere condolences to Sharon and Shawn, the lights of her life. She was so very proud
of how you’ve grown and enriched your lives for all the good reasons. You must be proud of your Mom too. She had so many loving friends in her life. Some predeceased her and if she is with them now,,, they are having a really good time.
