I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Ken. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I had tremendous respect for Ken. Having worked with Ken through many election campaigns on behalf of both provincial and federal Liberal candidates, I knew him to be an individual of strong principles, commitment and dedication. Nobody worked harder than Ken Beckett. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed and fondly remembered by us all.
Ken was the founding president of our ETFO Thames Valley Occasional Teachers’ Local, responsible for the amalgamation of London, Oxford, Elgin and Middlesex Locals. He was a generous mentor to me as I transitioned into leadership and his contribution to the membership cannot be measured.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
