Very sad about the loss of a very fine man and scholar who I was fortunate to have as ? friend and teacher. He will continue to live in our memory. ?????? ??? ??????!
May his memory be eternal. I have such wonderful strong memories of Prof. Pospielovsky. A wonderful man.
Dimitri was one of the founders of Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church and was a mentor to many parishoners, especially converts. I valued his friendship and will remember his wit and his deep faith. May his memory be eternal.
Dear Mirjana and family:
I am so sorry to learn of Dimitry’s death. I am out of town all week and will be unable to attend the funeral.
Dimitry was a wonderful colleague and cherished friend. I admired his scholarship and courage. He was particularly helpful to me in my role as counsel to the International Inquiry into the Famine in Ukraine.
His children and grandchildren have lost a wonderful family head; but faculty and students will mourn the loss of a scholar and mentor.
Rest eternal grant him O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon him.

Dear Mirjana and family,
We want to express our deepest sympathies at this incredibly sad time.
Dimitri made a profound impact on the lives of our entire family – he was a teacher, mentor, and friend for us all. His passion for living and learning was contagious – and he shared it joyously with many. We treasure many memories, discussions and debates, meals and laughs; he also taught our Dmitri how to ski, which turned into his passion as well.
As you remember the love, as you mourn the loss, may you also celebrate his life.
Love, Krassioukov’s family – Olga, Andrei and Dmitri
Had the pleasure of knowing Dimitry through the Late Prof. Papmehl. The passing of Dimitry saddens me knowing two icons of Western are gone. May your fond memories of Dimitry bring peace to one and all family.
