Steve you will be sorely missed as a brother and as a close friend. Your strength over these last few months were truly amazing. That beer we discussed is still waiting for you in the garage. Take care my friend and we will see you on the other side.
Words cannot describe my sadness for this loss. Steve was a truly amazing person and was one of the most positive people I have ever met. No matter how bad a situation was he always had a way to stay positive. It was an honor to have known him and to have called him my friend.
Take Care Brother,
Timothy Bayless
You have been, and always shall be…my friend.
Steve, we’ve been friends from the beginning of my life here in London 37 yrs ago, no one could ask for a better friend then you, you’ve been so good to me, I miss you so much, I was honor when you needed help you came to me, & I hope that I was able to be prove to you that I was a good friend to you as well. Save me a spot, till we meet again. Love you, your Rebel friend Donna
Have known Steve and family for many years. Found out just recently about his battle with his disease. I was very impressed with Steve’s courage and humour in handling which must have been a horrible struggle. This may seem trivial in view of his demise, I was also impressed with his sartorial demeanor. My heart goes out to Ken and George and the rest of the family. All I can say is Steve’s struggles are over. Rest in peace.
Truly an honour to have known such a genuine, trustworthy and generous guy. Will miss this true friend.

I knew Steve for a couple years when he was a member of the Press Club – he was always a kind, generous man – never had a bad word about anyone. Rest in peace, Steve.
Steve will be sadly missed by all his brothers and sisters at the Moose Lodge. God works in strange ways and we believe that Steve truly was an angel among us. He will be surly missed by all of us, and we pray that he rests in peace. Fair the well my brother until we meet once again.
One of the nicest guys I’ve ever known. I haven’t seen or spoken to Steve for over 40 years. That I recall him so well and with such fond memories speaks volumes about the type of person he was.
My condolences to his family and friends.
