GRECH, Godwin…..

Suddenly at Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, May 19, 2014, Godwin Grech of London in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Leslie (McIntyre) Grech for 20 years. Loving father of Jamie Lee Grech, Cassandra Grech (Nick), Hillary Peach (Ben), Adam Peach, Taylor Peach (Tabitha), Colin Peach all of London. Proud Nunnu of Mackensie. Cherished brother of Henry Grech (Maria), Tessie Picciuto (Salvatore), Joe Grech (Valerie), Paul Grech (Frances). Predeceased by his brother Mathew and his parents Joe and Jessie Grech. Dear son-in-law of Ron and Ruth McIntyre. Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Prayers at 8:30 pm Thursday night. The memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 1:30 pm.     Leslie and family, Jamie-Lee, Cassandra you have been in our thoughts and here for you at this difficult time. Uncle Godwin was a sweetheart, loved him and was definitely one of my favourite Grech brothers. Will never forget him taking me to see my first concert and the beautiful photos he took for Scott and I on our wedding day 25 years ago. Will miss him dearly. xox

    Dear Leslie and family, Jamie-Lee and Cassandra. I am so sorry for your loss. Godwin was such a great person and brother-in-law. He loved photography and was good at it. I too will never forget how he took beautiful pictures of Matthew and I on our wedding day 15 years ago. When his brother Matthew passed away in October, he also very kindly put together a touching CD for his family that we will always cherish.     It wil be hard going into the near future but you will get through it. When you start missing Godwin just look around, you will see him in each other. He has shaped all our lives in one way or another. It may be a look one of your brothers or sisters has or the way they do something. It may happen easily or not. But you can see it, you just have to look.
