BOWMAN, Joe “Mayor of Manor Park”….
Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, Joe Bowman in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Grace Bowman. Loving father of Fred, Ray and Kathy, Stu and Lisa, Doug and Laura, and David and Tammy. Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 15 great grand-children. Will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Hospital for their care and support. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held at the Church of The Epiphany, 11 Briscoe Street West, London, ON N6J 1L9 on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10 am with Reverend Teresa Corrigan officiating. So sorry to hear of Mr. Bowmans passing.My thoughts and prayers go out to all his sons and their families. Anyone who grew up in Manor Park knew what a truly kind man he was. He will be remembered always.
