Uncle Bill was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He lived an exemplimary life! From Hamlet these words are so fitting….
“Good Night, Sweet Prince; and flights of Angels sing thee to they rest!
I love you, rest in peace.
And to Tom, Trevor, Terry and (Ma Cousin) Tracy and all your extended family- My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know my Mum and Dad were waiting with open arms and a glass of gin to toast this amazing man! My Love and condolences to you all.
Cousin Nancy xoxo
Truly a “gentle” soul. A kind and loving uncle, soft-spoken, never a harsh word. A wonderful brother-in-law to our mother, Helen.
“Eternal peace be unto you, dear Uncle, and may you now dwell in the Paradise of God forever.”
To all Uncle Bill’s family my deepest condolences. A life well lived, good memories for all his family to cherish. Thinking of all of you, Love Bev and Jerry and family
Tom, Trevor, Terry Tracey, Aunty Edith, so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill, my thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families. Stay strong and Take comfort in the years and years of wonderful memories you all have that are timeless! love Margaret Anne
What a wonderful man. Grandpa Bill’s love and commitment to Grannie Edie until the very end was so beautiful and rare. In the few years I knew Bill, it was clear how very proud he was of his four children. I feel blessed that our little girl, Essery, will be carrying on part of his name. His sharp wit and great sense of humour will be missed by our little family.
My sincerest sympathies to Tracy and the entire family. “Grandpa Bill” was someone who could easily be admired and respected for his wonderful accomplishments in life and devotion to his family.
I would like to send my deepest sympathies to all of the family on the passing of Uncle Bill. Last Saturday at the Ticat-Bomber game I was honoured as the Scotiabank Gamechanger. The $1000.00 prize money I won was donated to cancer research.
Our thoughts are with all of you as you remember the wonderful times spent with Bill. A special prayer sent for Edith.
