DORAN Derek Charles…

Unexpectedly on Thursday, June 27th, 2013, Derek Doran of London in his 34th year. Beloved husband of Julie Hasler. Cherished father of Blake and Evan. Proud son of Billy and Jane Doran and Linda and Bob Vachon. Dear son-in-law of Bret and Joyce Hasler. Beloved brother of Rick, Chad, Lisa and Mike. Loved by sister-in-law Melissa Hasler and David Mezenberg. He will be sadly missed by his family and close friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (12 noon-1pm) on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Doran Family Trust Fund c/o Scotia Bank, 580 Wonderland Rd. S., London, ON N6K 2Y8.     Dear Doran Family; I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your big loss. I worked with Derek for a little while and in that time he talked about the joys of his life and those were Julie, Blake and Evan. He made an impression on my life in the way that he expressed his feelings for his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

    The best memories of Derek are when he was the ring bearer at Mike and Cathy’s wedding with Karyn as the flower girl. He will be missed. My prayers are with all the families.

    We have never met, I haven’t actually seen or spoken to Derek in 10 years or so, since we worked together at KFC.

    I just want to express my sincerest condolences to you all. Derek was an amazing person, he brought smiles and laughter wherever he went. I cannot fathom the grief you must be feeling, I am truly sorry.

    I hope that you may find some comfort in your memories of him and in the wonderful legacy he leaves behind, which includes all of the lives he touched, and most importantly, Blake and Evan.

    Derek is sadly missed, by every single person I have spoken to since his passing. Derek is the guy that is everyones best friend. He was a proud father, good husband, and a loved son and brother.. Derek, u are a mans man and I miss u my friend..

    I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
