A truly gentle kind man. We enjoyed his company at the Legion Bridge Club when he was well. Condolences to the entire family on our behalf
Dear Jan and family, I was so sorry to hear of Marty’s passing. We haven’t been in touch with each other in years but I remember fondly all the wonderful times we had playing cards with you and Marty. Those times were such fun, with Marty’s jokes and sense of humour. And of course, the pie and ice cream! He will be missed by me and so many others whose lives he touched.
Sincerely, Marilyn Fraser
Joan and I are very sadden by the passing of Marty. I worked with Marty during his many years with DuPont. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this very difficult time.
I transferred with DuPont from London in1967 and got to know Marty through the years. So sorry to hear of his passing.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Marty would have been so touched by the events of yesterday. Heartfelt thanks for spending time together at his visitation. Marty’s Grandson Evan thought he was the “funniest person he knew” and he will forever be known as “George” – a code name between Grandpa & Grandson. xo
