God has taken another precious soul home. Uncle Abel was one of the kindest souls I have ever known. My heartfelt condolences to Aunt Reta, Glenn, Brenda and families.
So sorry to hear that Uncle Abel has passed away. Please accept our condolences.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your father. My deepest sympathies.
We were just thinking about you last week and were wondering how you were doing and now you are gone. It is hard to believe that you married us nearly 33 years ago and christened 3 of our 4 children. Our prayers go out to Reta, Glen, Brenda and families.
Dear Glenn and Beth. So sorry for the loss of your Father. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by you both. Miss Patricia Carson and her Father Rev. Robert Carson

To Brenda, Glenn and families,
We are really sorry to hear about your loss. I know how close you were to your father and the deep influences he had on your lives. I’m glad I had the opportunity to meet him when he travelled to Australia to help on your wedding day, (Brenda and Steve) in such a very special way.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I have many fond and great memories of when Rev Parsons was my Minister growing up as a child in Foxboro, Ontario. I even remember my first communion with Rev. Parsons and his great support when I sang solo’s at the Stirling Music Festival. Great memories.
Keep encouraged Brenda and Glenn and we are praying for you and your Mom.
Dear Glen & Beth:
Please accept our deepest sympathies.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
With all our love,
Earth hath no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Those who live in the Lord never see each other for the last time.
I fondly remember Harold. A chair of the board while he was at King St United Church we had many interactions. I am so glad he was able to hold grandchildren in his arms. I will pray for him
We are today fondly remembering a ministry lived out in our midst. An example to be emulated. and a good retirement with family. Know that you are in our thoughts and Prayers this week Here in the Bay OF Quinte Conference office.
We are saddened to hear of Abel’s death. We have fond memories of our time together at Holloway Street United Church in Belleville. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. With sincere love. Ken & Shirley.
Dear Glenn, Beth and family.
We are very sorry to hear of your Father’s death. You knew him as an outstanding minister, father, father-in-law and grandfather, and those memories you will cherish and hold close to you at this time. We only saw him in seeing all of you, his most cherished family. What pride he must of had in each of you.
Blessings to you all.
John and Karen
I remember fondly the years that the Parsons family lived in Selkirk, MB. I am the last of the Reid family who lived across the back lane from the manse. Dorothy, Percy, Lora, Betha, and Clyde, too, have all gone before. Rev. Parsons got our new church built and it is in constant service to the community. He lived a good life and will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Parsons family. I remember Rev. Parsons, his wife and family well from Selkirk, MB United. I had the pleasure of babysitting for them. Under the leadership of Rev. Parsons (1955-59)our sanctuary was built and dedicated in 1958.Thinking of you all with love. Erna, Don and family
My deepest sympathies to Aunt Rita, Glenn & Beth, Brenda & Steve. You all will be in our thoughts.
We remember our wonderful trip, which was a surprise 35th Wedding Anniversary for Reta, which Abel planned without her knowing anything. It was a wonderful trip to Newfoundland and a big surprise when Glen & Brenda flew in to celebrate with us.
How we remember how Abel loved to dance.
Dear Reta, Glenn& Brenda,
We recall many good times and some sad times in Foxboro but Rev. Parsons was always there to support us. He married us in 1970 but later performed my Dad’s unexpected funeral. He set a wonderful example of how one should live their life. May he rest in Peace!
