Mark and I would like to express our sadness and our condolences to Gladys and the family for the passing of Pastor David. I was one of the lucky ones—I had a chance to work with David for several years on church committees. His kind, gentle nature, and his spiritual wisdom were so appreciated. Although I know that David’s family can rejoice in his homecoming, I also know that his loss to you and all of the others who knew him will be deeply felt here on earth. Praying for peace and comfort for all of you.
My husband and I were saddened to hear of the death of dear Pastor David. He and his wife, Gladys brought such joy and hope into the lives of so many of us. In a day where true gentleman are sometimes difficult to find, Pastor David was such a man. Our condolences to his large and loving family, and to his dear wife, Gladys. May God provide His comfort and peace, and the promise Pastor David spoke so often about – the promise of meeting again in God’s kingdom. With love and remembrance,
Sue and Phil
Our congregation and church family are thinking of the Ogilvies at this time and extend our sincere sympathy and love.
Our thoughts are with you all as you bid Dad farewell. The vigil has been long and difficult but comfort comes in knowing Dad is at rest from good and faithful labors. We wish you a good time together as you gather as a family – and know the church family in Port Williams is with you in spirit. Accept our sincere sympathy as you part with David and learn to live with this break in the Ogilvie family circle.
