Our sincere condolences to the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dear Cathy,
I read in the Brockville paper today, March 19, of your mother’s passing. Our childhood friends have pretty much departed this life. There are few of us of my age group (91 3/4) left. The memories we have from those days have seemed to have floated to the surface these days and the interveening years seemed to have moved aside. Jean was one of the very few left to talk to about our childhood. I will miss her. She seems to have been happy though with life in London and once she became ill, she did not linger long. I`m sure you and Ann will miss her but you must have happy memories. Of course I will miss our phone conversations but I`m glad she did not linger in any great discomfort. Please give my sympathy to Ann and the grandchildren. She certainly appreciated your closeness and care
Sincerely
Frances Chapman
