SNELGROVE, Drew…..

Suddenly at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, Drew Snelgrove in his 49th year. Beloved husband of Rosemary Wearing. He was extremely proud of his two children Carlie and Jeremy Wearing-Snelgrove. Dear brother of Geoffrey Snelgrove, Paul Snelgrove, and brother-in-law of Jennifer Billing (Brian) and Tom Wearing (Nancy). Also missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and Sammy and her family. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Justin’s Catholic Church, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London, on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11am. Private family inurnment in Woodland Cemetery, London.     Words cannot express the sorrow we have with the sudden and unexpected passing of a dear friend. We met Drew 12 years ago when we moved to the same street, our daughters Carlie and Sam became friends instantly. If the girls were not at our house they were a few doors down at Rose and Drews. He put up with a lot of giggling, screaming, sleep overs, messes and of course constant car pooling. He was also called upon to do some racoon hunting and a whole lot of dog chasing, he took this all in stride and always with a smile on his face. He will be truly missed and never be forgotten. Our condolences to Rose, Carlie, Jeremy and family. We hope these memories can put a smile on your faces during this time and as you already know we are here for you always.

    We just heard the sad news about Drew from the online free press because we are in Florida. The memories flash back to the time Drew worked for me at Highland Country Club and what a dedicated worker he was. As a junior, Drew was an outstanding golfer. Drew will certainly be missed.
