Ted was a wonderful man, with a real zest for life. I will always remember his constant smile and his humorous stories about his life’s adventures.
Ted was a good friend of our Tante Karin and Onkel Rolf (Apa) von Heyking. He and Erika became friends of ours too while we resided in London in the early 70’s and whenever we saw Ted, his face would light up with a huge smile and we would share some happy stories. He passed away on the same day as our “Apa” – a sad day for all of us but I’m sure they are both sharing a “Schnapps” together in heaven! Our sincere condolences to the family. Marianne (von Heyking) and Mike Kraemer
I remember Ted as the sweetest person, he was always happy to see you. Ted was a positive happy man who brought out the best in everyone he knew. When talking to Ted you knew that you were the center of his attention. Ted was always so happy to see us when we visited Ont, he was interested in how we were enjoying life in NS.
Ted LOVED the children that were around him, I’ll always remember his stories at the Baltic Christmas party. His love for story telling was evident in his smile, he loved to entertain the children. “Teddy Bear” Ted was an amazing man, I feel privilaged to have known him, he will be missed. Rest in Gods arms Ted.
With many caring thoughts during this time of your sorrow from Joachim Bernewitz Knackstedt and Family.
Ted Behr was an important part of our extended Demmitt family! In those early years when we thirteen children of three von Harpe families lived in what others considered “the nothern Alberta bush”, people like Ted were so vital to us: his visits in the summer with his sunny smile, curious disposition and time to play and dance were tonics for all of us. Later he and Erika visited our parents and they always appreciated his kindness.
We are sorry to hear of his passing. I’m happy that my children had a chance to meet him and hear some of his stories when we visited London.
On behalf of the Dohnberg family – Knute in London, Bjorn in Ottawa, and Margrit in Oxted, UK – I’d like to express our sincere condolences to the von Behr family.
Ted and Tante Erika were always the most uplifting and gracious people to spend time with. Ted and my Uncle Rolf (Apa) went to heaven on the same day. I think they’ll be having a sakuska together. Sadly missed…
We were so sorry to hear about Ted’s death. We hadn’t seen him for a long time but remember him fondly as a kind man. He will be greatly missed.
Hello:
I would like to convey my deepest sympathy to your entire family for the lost of your dear one. Even though I do not personally know your family I would like to share a few encouraging scriptures from God’s word the Bible.
Jehovah God has lovingly sent His son Jesus Christ to give his life as a ransom for all of us, opening the way for the resurrection hope. Acts 24:15 tells us that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteousness. So very soon you will be able to see your dear loved one resurrected to life on a paradise earth. ( Luke 23: 43)
