BROOKS, Robert John “Jack”…
At Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, December 21, 2012, Jack Brooks in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Jean Brooks. Loving father of Ken (Heather) and Keith (Pamela). Dear grandfather of Anne and Emma. Dear brother of Betty Cowan (Harlon) and Norman Brooks (Gwen). Cherished brother-in-law of Betty, Elizabeth and Marion. Also missed by several nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his brother Bill, his sisters Irene and Marion, his step brother Doug, his father Lambert, his mother Mable, his step mother Bertha, brothers-in-law Herbert, Arthur, Tom, Lewis, and sisters-in-law Betty, Edith and Evelyn. Jack was a member of UA Local 593. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, and the funeral service will be held at St. Anne’s Anglican Church (Byron), 1344 Commissioner’s Road West, London, Ontario on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11am with Rt. Reverend Terry Dance and Reverend Canon Janet M. Lynall officiating. Interment in St. Anne’s Anglican Church Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, 180-633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3 and to the London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6 would be appreciated.
