WELBURN, Donalda Jean…..Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Friday, December 7, 2012. Jean Welburn in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harry (2006). Loving mother of Peggy (Glenn). Dear mother-in-law of Jenny. Proud Granny of Richard (the late Gail), Mike (Diane) and Sarah (Drew). Cherished Great-Grams of Hayley, Spencer, Kayla, Adam (Clair), Connor and Daniel. Dear sister of Helen Griffith and Peggy Zubyk. Predeceased by her son Fred (2007), her sisters Marlene May and Catherine Jones, her brothers Frank Mac Connell and Fred Mac Connell. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nursing staff and Doctors of C5 Victoria Hospital for their kind hearts and gentle hands. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9 pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. I am so saddened by the passing of my dear friend Jean. I will miss you greatly and cherish the many memories of good times we shared. Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Peggy and Glen and all the extended family.
Dear Glenn, Peggy, Sarah & Drew, So sorry, and thinking of you at this time. We always had a good laugh with Jean and only have fond memories of her. She always gave me a laugh with her sayings on Facebook, too!

I will miss her phone calls letting us know what was happening with her family. She loved to talk about her children and grandchildren whom she was very proud of. I love her little laugh and upbeat attitude. She was a very special strong lady and she will be missed dearly.

So, sorry to hear about your grandmother, Mike and Richard. I know how much you will all miss her. She was such a wonderful lady and the few times we meet her she was just like family. Glad for the good memories of her, though.

I have know Jean for about 3 years through Trailblazers at the Kiwanis Centre. I will miss Jean and her friendly and optimistic outlook on life as will all the Trailblazers. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jean’s family.
