Dear Terry……
I was quite shocked to hear that your mother had died as it always seemed that she would somehow ‘go on forever’.
In a way, it was probably a blessing that she passed away peacefully, spending her remaining days at Victoria Hospital, getting the best possible care and attention.
Over the years, I would bump into your mom here and there around downtown, and we would always stop and chat.
She was a kind, strong, interesting lady with a lot of character, and good values. (She always spoke highly of you, Terry).
Also, your mother always looked after herself, wearing nice clothes and make-up. (Even though she was close to 90…she never ever did look like ‘an old lady.’)
And, she couldn’t have wished for a better son.
Terry….you were ALWAYS there for her. You looked after your mom SO WELL. I know that you phoned her every day, you drove her to all her appointments, and if she needed you, all she had to do was phone and you would drop everything and drive right over, to handle every small emergency that would arise.
Every Thursday, you would always take her shopping at Valu Mart..an outing she probably looked forward to and always enjoyed.
Terry, your Thursdays are probably now going to seem quite empty as you are going to miss those fun Thursday trips to the grocery store.
It is my belief that your mom is now in Heaven and will always look down on you and your family, with absolute pride.
Terry… Debbie and I want you and Barabara and Vanessa and Jessica, and Bonnie and Mel to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
Again…if there is ANYTHING I can do, or help you with, just call me.

My condolences on your loss.
Your mom and my aunt was a gracious and kind person that I have always respected.
My regards to your close family!

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Thatcher many years ago at the Metropolitan store London East. She was always very kind and always spoke of her family and grandchildren in the most loving way.
Thanks for the memories!
Respectfully, Jennifer Pearce
Dear Terry and family: It was with great sadness I read of the passing of your mom. I know you will miss her dearly but I also know her “Spirit” will always be with you along with all your memories. With loving prayers of comfort and peace…Ronalee
