Peacefully surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Thursday, June 14, 2012 Searle “Si” Brown in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Edith (Houghton) Brown and the late Eileen (Scott) Brown. Father of Bonnie and Dan Joynt of Strathroy, Shirley and Douglas Roberts of Watford; Douglas Brown and Nancy and Susan Taylor of London. Grandfather of Anne, David, Janet (Yves), Paul, Ryan and Jake and his 2 great-grandchildren.. Predeceased by his brothers Jack, Bob and Gord Brown and his sisters Annie Aldington, Marcia Daugharty, Violet Brown, and Shirley Dawkins. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, June 17th at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, June 18th. at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Teresa Corrigan officiating.
