My remembrance of Joan is how she was so gracious to us and I remember how she opened your home to us to rehearse and had your dog do tricks with the tissue. I will send a picture of Joan in one of our costumes which was blue and she looked absolutely beautiful.
I’ve only just come to know Joan over the last few years since she joined the Ingersoll Choral Society. She was such a sweet lady and I loved hearing her British accent. The last time I saw Joan she was SO looking forward to finally getting the cast off of her foot. We will miss Joan but I’m happy to have known her, even for a little while.
My deepest sympathies to Don and Joan’s children at this great loss. I knew Joan for over 20 years and never was there a sweeter, kinder individual!I received news this morning that she was ill and now see that she has crossed over already. Her gentle spirit and loving heart will always live and my fond memories of those too few moments that we were able to spend together will remain with me. Joan I will miss you, my friend. Soar high and smile over us widely.
Pleas accept my sincere condolences to all of Joan`s family. Joan was with our London Chorus for only a short time.Joann for a while sang with our bass section for a short time of which I am a part of, I will always remember Joan as a very sweet lady my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Circle of Harmony (Oakville Sweet Adelines)
Joan was a ball of energy with a quick wit and a big heart. The term small but mighty comes to mind. She truely loved harmonizing and being part of the chorus. We were sad Joan had to move away but were happy she found another Sweet Adeline ‘home’ in London. You will be missed.
Yours in Harmony Joan,
Deborah
My sincere condolences to Joan’s family at this very difficult time. I remember Joan from our days of singing in the Circle Of Harmony in Oakville. Joan was a great lady and she was an important part or our singing group.
Please accept my sympathy, my thoughts are with you.

Joan added a bright spirit and a sharp sense of humour to the Circle of Harmony family when she was a member of the chorus a few years back. I missed her when she moved to London. It’s so sad to find she has passed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I have fond memories of walking on the Bruce Trail with Joan and Apple Jack.Joan was in better shape then me and she had Apple Jack pull me up some hills.Joan loved to sing and was a proud member of The Circle of Harmony. Iknow she is up there singing with the angles
Joan was a quiet member of Sweet Adelines. She always had a kind word and smile to share with me. We all had a good laugh one night during costume fittings…Joans petite body fit into one leg of an oversized pair of pants. With sincere sympathy. Reeka
To all of Joan’s family
I am very sorry for your loss. Joan was a kind and dear person. I got to know her the last year she was in the Sweet Adeline Chorus. We had a comom interest in gardening and exchanged plants.
I know even then she was struggling with her breathing. She is no longer struggling.
God Bless her and all of you

I met Joan when she moved back to London around 6 years ago and she joined Sweet Adelines. Since she lived in my neighbourhood I would pick her up and we would ride to practise together. We hit it off right away with many things in common like singing, gardening and our pets. Joan looked after our beloved dog whenever John and I wanted to go away overnight and even for a week. She loved our dog and he loved her, he didn’t mind us leaving him a bit when we left him with Joan. When Joan and I went to sing with the Ingersoll Chorus we had an even longer car ride together which gave us even more time to talk. I will miss her so much, she was such a good friend to me. I watched her struggling to breath when she was in the hospital on full oxygen and I was so worried for her. I know you are not struggling now Joan and I’m happy about that but I’m not happy to lose you my friend.
I was deeply saddened when i learned of Joan’s passing.
My thoughts are with you Don @
Joan’s family during this difficult time.

Please accept my condolences on Joan’s passing. She was a very lovely lady. I got to know Joan as we were both singers in the bass section of the Circle of Harmony. We were sorry to hear when she had to leave us to move to London, ON.
