Peacefully at University Hospital, London on Monday, November 14, 2011, Ruby Violet (Box) Humphries in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Humphries (2003). Dear mother of the late Gail Topham (2006) and her husband Jim of London, Carol Lewis and her husband Dr. Ernie Lewis of Mississauga, Fred Humphries and his wife Jackie of London, Terry Humphries and his wife Janet of Sheddon, and Kathy Dako and her husband Charlie of London. Loved grandmother of eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Cherished sister of Bruce Box and his wife Jean. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Jack and Ivan, her sister May and her sister-in-law Marion. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1pm on Friday, November 18, 2011. Cremation with interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.
