MCCUTCHEON, Elizabeth “Betty”……Peacefully at Elmwood Place Retirement Community, London, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, Elizabeth McCutcheon (a.k.a. the Queen Mom) in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Keith McCutcheon and the late Leo Matthews. Cherished mother of Deanna Schuster, Frances Matthews, David Matthews, and Steven Matthews (Lynne), all of London. Adored grandmother of Jacqueline Schuster, Michelle Schuster, Christopher Matthews (Kathy), Lisa Fern (Ben), and Dean Matthews. Loving G.G. of Dylan and Tyson Matthews, and Desmond Fern. Dearly missed by niece Joyce Curtis (Richard), along with several other nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Predeceased by her parents Forest and Sarah Hartsell, her sisters Hattie and Reta and brother William. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Gartshore Apartments, 82 Ridout Street South, London (Common Room) from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Betty was like a second mother to me growing up. She will be greatly missed by so many who had the pleasure of knowing her and whose lives she touched with love and kindness.
