QUANT, Les…..

Peacefully at the Village of Glendale Crossing, London on Thursday, September 22, 2011, Leslie “Les” W. Quant in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Edna (Garton) Quant for 65 years. Proud father of Valerie Quant and her husband Hank Halliday of Ailsa Craig. Dear uncle of Elayne St. Pierre and Frank Garton (Les’ Hockey Buddy). Les will also be missed by his extended family in Guelph; Don and Dorothy Quant and Ruth Ralston and all his euchre and bingo friends at the Horton Street Seniors. The family would like to thank the kind staff at Glendale, who cared for him in the last 2 years of his life. Cremation with a private family interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Boys’ & Girls’ Club of London, 184 Horton Street East, London, ON N6B 1K8. A. Les will be greatly missed by his wife, daughter and son-in-law.

    My nane is Bob Hoffman and I worked with Les for many years at McDowell and Mutual wsle. He was a very nice man and I am sorry to see his passing. We had some great times to-gether. Again, I am very sorry Bob Hoffman.
