We are deeply saddened at Barrie’s passing. We have missed Barrie and Helen very much as they were our best of neighbours. They have left us with many wonderful memories. From watching them pack every fall for Florida and looking forward to their return in the spring to specially prepared individualized Halloween treats for Cale and Becky. Our kids often referred to them as grandpa and grandma Gould. Barry and I bantered with each other in a friendly way across our busy street for over 20 yrs. I often would purposely walk my dog on his precious lawn while they were sitting on their porch. Or ask them when they were going south so I could run off his hydro. I loved Barrie’s dry sense of humour as he gave me back all he got. We have sincerely missed their companionship and the comfort in knowing that they were always there for us and we for them. I will miss my “old” buddy. Take care Steve, we apologize that we couldn’t be with you yesterday as we have just returned from holidays. Our thoughts remain with you and your family. Sincerely, Doug, Judy, Cale and Becky Sutherland
Janis and Maynard; Sandy and Jim: We saw your names in the LFP re the passing of your stepfather. It brought back a lot of memories. Please accept our condolences. It is good that you both live in Oakville and can support each other. Sincerely John and Helen Bowman
