I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Gord’s passing. I am presently in Florida. Thinking of you all.
Love Sandy
I am sad to learn of Dr. Prueter’s passing. He was my doctor in the 1970s, and I don’t think a week goes by when I don’t think of him. He was wise, kind, fatherly, and astute. He once kept his patients waiting for 45 minutes while he counselled me on a family matter. When I moved to Toronto, he once spent 30 minutes on the phone helping me successfully resolve an issue. I will always hold you in my heart, Dr. Prueter.
This is truly the end of an era. Mike, Martha and John….your dad made such an incredible contribution to society. While I never really knew him, I do feel that I got to know some of him through the three of you. I am going to be in London on Saturday, and would be delighted to meet up, if you are still in town. Email me if that makes sense. Kindest regards Mark Wettlaufer
Kindest regards as well from my mother Florence, and sister Anne.
Sincerest condolences on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I only knew him for a short time back in the 70s, but he left an indelible mark. He was a prince of a man and the type of father everyone wishes they had.
Mike,Martha and John-I was sorry to hear about your dad.One of my fondest memories at Camp White Bear was having the privelege to go out fishing with your dad and hooking on to a monster pickerel….i know he’d agree with me saying this, even though it fell through the mesh of the net and was never officially landed!Your dad was a great guy and a great role model. My deepest sympathies to all of you at this difficult time.
I had the honour of introducing Dr. Prueter to the podium, as he gave a wonderful tribute to Steve and Sarah (granddaughter) at their wedding last year. He had many pearls of wisdom, and his love and pride for his family, and beautiful granddaughter Sarah, was more than evident in his anecdotes. I am so sorry for your loss, he was clearly one-of-a-kind. Jill

Yvonne, Mike, Martha and John:
I have fond memories as a child of seeing the Prueter family come to Wesley-Knox church and taking up a row of pews by the Richmond family windows. Gord always had a handshake and smile for our family, and that’s something that ingrains in a child’s memory. I also seem to recall seeing him at Camp White Bear with John when I was there one summer. He certainly made a wonderful contribution to the medical field. I trust your memories will help sustain you in the days ahead. wishing you all God’s peace and love. Sincerely,
Grant

Martha, we have to connect sometime soon. Katy
