I met Hap nearly 20yrs ago when my oldest son was just learning to walk at the Zellers Rest in Westmount Mall in London,one big smile from my son and Hap and his companion Chris became a part of our lives, I went on to have two more children and Hap of course was there to welcome them, whem my youngest was born I even had a hospital visit ( as we knew ahead of time the date) After moving to Goderich we had a big surprize one day when the “Barney” car (as Hap was known to refer to his car due to the light purple color) pulled up at our home! A wonderfull visit.When I moved back to Bayfield I knew I could look forward to nice weather visits with one of the Sweetest True Gentlemen I have ever been lucky enough to know.Although its been a number of years since we have seen Hap he has always been close to our hearts Thanks For the Good Times and Rest Well My Friend
Dear Linda;
I thought highly of your Dad and am very saddened by his passing.We met for many years at Westmount Mall and I was always surprised at his memory and knowledge of so many places and things. I did so enjoy our talks and several times the 3 of us went in the spring for pancakes at a Maple Syrup place in the country. I am very proud to have called him a ‘good friend’so I send you my Sincere Condolences and always be proud that he was your Dad.I will truely miss him.
Saddened

Dear Linda,
We were sad to hear of Uncle Hap’s passing, but we’re glad that he didn’t have to suffer in the end. I know how hard it can be to lose a parent, at any age, and I will be keepinhg you in my thoughts and prayers. You will be busy now with lots of details, but remember to take time for yourself and that whenever you need help and support the extended ‘Gray’ Family will be there for you.
We were lucky to have Uncle Hap around for as long as we did. Courtney and I certainly appreciated him thinking of us every Christmas and we still have all the silver dollars he sent. It is nice to have so much love in our lives, especially from someone who’s knickname was Happy 🙂
Take Care, Love,
Kelly, Steve and Katelyn
