FISHER, Robert Allan…..Peacefully at University Hospital, London on Sunday, October 3, 2010, Robert Allan Fisher in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Elaine (Santoro) Fisher. Dear father of Grant Fisher of London and Mark Fisher of London. Dear grandfather of Quinn and Kassidy Fisher. Dear brother of Doreen Rubeniuk and her husband Adam of Calgary, Maurice Fisher and his wife Faye of London, Van Fisher of South Bend, Indiana, Ken Fisher and his wife Joyce of Surrey, BC. Olivia Crockett of Toronto. Predeceased by his brother Raymond Fisher and his sister Winnifred Fisher. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Denis Turpin for all of his special attention and care. Thank you also to the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital. Bob was a member of Bayfield Anglers Association, Nine Mile Steelers and Maitland Valley Anglers Association. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 am with Reverend Ken Taylor officiating. Cremation will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program, 747 Baseline Road East, London, Ontario, N6C 2R6 or to London Health Sciences Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, 747 Baseline Road East, London, Ontario, N6C 2R6.
