Dear Doris and family,
We were very saddened to read of Les’s passing in the paper. We always cherished our long association with you and him through Elmwood. Unfortunately, I have a full clinical day booked on Thursday and David is teaching so we shall not be able to pay our respects in person; however, you will be very much in our thoughts and prayers on that day and in the days ahead.
Please accept our very deepest sympathies at your loss.
Love,
Paul and David

I was saddened to read of Mr. Fairbairn’s passing in the paper. My mother (Dorothy Chalmers) was a friend of our family, as well as a member of Elmwood. I will be at the service today in her stead, and I know she would wish me to pass on condolences to your family.
