Jim, Rob and family: We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Sincere condolences upon the passing of Mary. May warm memories bring you comfort during this sad time. Sincerely, Serena, Brian & Staff
Mr. & Mrs. MacGregor were my neighbors and our friends for over forty years. The lived in our old neighborhood in Northeast London and then lived right next door to us on Glengarry Avenue from 1963 until Mom had to move in 2001. They were, to my mind, exactly the type of neighbors you would want living beside you for forty years. Mary Helen loved to chat but she never gossiped. I never heard her say an unkind thing about anyone. You did not have to look to closely to see the enthusiasm for life that sprang from her eyes. Bright, funny, and always prepared with a kind and supportive word to myself or my sisters. In our darkest moments as a family, she was there with her steady reassurance, making us feel safer than she could possibly have known. In the end she left behind the most important things: her love, her strength, her spirit and her example, instilled in us in the most important of places – our hearts. Mary Helen MacGregor, whose distinguished life and quality of character could only have lead her to a passing with a peace above all earthly dignities and a still and quiet conscience.
My best to Mr. MacGregor, Rob and all the family.
Dear Jim I am so srry to learn of Mary Helen’s death. She was a wonderful lady who will be missed so much by many.My sincere sympathy to you and your family. Dick
