McCARTHY, Audrey Ruth……Peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home, London on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, Audrey Ruth (Reyburn) McCarthy in her 85th year. Loving mother of Michelle McCarthy and Shawn McCarthy both of Toronto. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy Reyburn of Edmonton. Proud aunt of Robert Reyburn, Brian Reyburn and Jim Reyburn all of Edmonton. Predeceased by her brother Ronald Reyburn. Friends will be received on Monday, April 26, 2010 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm (1hour prior) at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1:00pm. A private family interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Gideons, P.O. Box 3619, Guelph, ON N1H 7A2 would be appreciated. Shawn, I was so saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. So many memories come to mind when I think of her, our times at Bayfield, Florida and Etobicoke. I am thinking of you and Michelle especially today.
I really wanted to attend the service and visiting today but I have a bad cold and couldn’t make it.

I just heard about your mom’s passing….Dave sent me an email. I am so sorry. I know you have lovingly cared for her for some time…..not easy when you live in another city!!While I didn’t know her well, I remember the warmth with which she cared for people.You and Shelly will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks.
