MACLEOD, Doreen Agnes nee Allen……Died peacefully at Chelsey Park Nursing Home on March 24, 2010 in her 87th year, surrounded by her children. Loving mother of Maureen Claire MacLeod Steele and her husband Dennis Steele of California, Marianne Rae MacLeod and her husband Michael Hughes of Toronto, David Allen MacLeod and his wife Donna Croce of Toronto and Ian Ross MacLeod and his wife Shaune of London. Dear sister of William Thomas Allen and his wife Patricia of Toronto. Cherished grandmother (Bubba) to Matthew, Heather, Andrew, Claire, Veronica, David, Kathleen and Samuel. Sister-In-Law to Jean McIntyre, Bruce MacLeod and Mac MacLeod. She will be sadly missed by her husband Harold Calvert. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Hugh MacLeod (1974). Also loved by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to the 3rd floor staff of Chelsey Park for their exceptional, compassionate and loving care of Doreen in the past 3 years. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4pm on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 1:00pm. Private family interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
