I have very fond memories of the many many hours that Chuck devoted to the Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake project. His determination, expertise and spirit accomplished an amazing facility for children with cancer and their families. Chuck is going to be missed!!
Rainbow Lake is an incredible place because of Chuck. Beautiful buildings done in the grand Chuck style. Rainbow coloured doors when Todd wasn’t looking!:)Children flushing toilet rolls down Chuck’s new toilets. Never a dull moment for the years Chuck ran Rainbow Lake. Now he can build his castles in the sky and take care of all of our trillium family who will be waiting for him in heaven.
I was deeply saddened to hear that Chuck has died.
A very special place called Camp Trillium – Rainbow Lake exists for children with cancer. It is here today, in no small measure, due to his tireless efforts.
Chuck not only put his time, knowledge and experince into Rainbow Lake…he also put his heart and soul there too.
He will be missed by me…but always remembered.
My sympathies to David, Erin and Siobahn. You have lost a father who loved you. Chuck Kelly was my uncle, and I loved his stories. He had an incredible memory and a mind like a steel trap. He was a tough old school tradesman who rose to the top of his industry as a superintendent on major construction projects. He got things done on time and done right. He could be crusty, and he wasn’t shy about sharing his opinion, but, oh my, he had a big heart for those near and dear to him, Nothing was more dear to him than Aunt Jean, David, Erin and Siobahn — and Camp Trillium – Rainbow Lake.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dave, Erin, and Siobhan. May your memories be your comfort.
Dave, our thoughts are with you guys at this time. I remember your dad from a family trip to Blue where we bumped into you guys up there for a few days and he was with you. That was a good time….the kind of times you want to remember. Take care, doug

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie.
Charlie had been a very close
friend for over 50 years,and
in those years we created a
lot of fond memories, some while working together at
Ellie-Don and others on a social basis.
He will be missed and I will
always have fond memories
of him.
My family sends their
