At St. Joseph’s Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 Monica Joan (Stapleton) Malpage of London in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late William G. Malpage (1994). Dear step-mother of Ralph Malpage, William Malpage and Douglas Malpage all of London. Loved sister of Kenneth Stapleton and wife Gail of St Thomas and Douglas Stapleton and wife Morag of London. Survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Garrith “Gary” Stapleton, step-children Edward Malpage, Barbara English and Patricia Chalmers. Joan was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 845 and the Royal Canadian Legion Victory Branch No. 317. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 11:00 am with the Venerable Dr. Timothy G. Conner officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.
