Martin and I were saddened to hear of Joan’s passing. We have good memories of our years spent in Oakridge and the many visits from Tracy. We especially remember the dinner Joan hosted for Barbara and Tracy’s, Clara Brenton Graduation at your home. We will be thinking of your whole family at this time. It is tough to lose one’s wife and mother.
Tracy, please feel free to call us or drop in to see us when things have settled down. Wes we do remember you and feel for your loss. John, you sure were a great support to Joan. Your Mom was a fighter and set an example for us all.
Luv, Martin and Dorothy Foley
I express the deepest condolences to you all. I have fond memories of visiting with Joan when I’d be over visiting at the trailer and at the house.
My deepest sympathies to you John, Wes, and Tracey in the loss of your Wife and Mother.
Praying that Gods peace will sustian you.
sincerely,
Heather(Pangborn)Welbourn.
After speaking to you this spring about the Stratford Reunion, I knew that Joan was not well. However, I did read of Joan’s passing in the K-W Record yesterday and found it hard to believe. Memory Gardens is close by. However I have an event I must participate in so cannot go at that time.
My husband, although he has only heard me speak of you both, joins me in sending a memorial donation to the Kidney Foundation in London in Joan’s memory.
I’ll let Don Hill know by e-mail of your loss, John.
Just received an e-mail from Elaine Rees informing of Joan’s passing. Our deepest sympathy is extended to you and your family. Don

We are so sorry for your loss. We have only had the pleasure of meeting
Tracey’s mom a few time, but in those meeting we became aware of what a vibrant women she was and the love she had for her family.
I remember when Tracey told me that they thought that her mom didn’t have much time left.
Then a couple of weeks later there is Joan at Abbeys, Hanna Montana Concert , standing in the aisle and dancing to the music,
Smiling and enjoying her family. She sure made me laugh. She was obviously also a women of determination.
Her illness was not going to run her life. She tried hard to enjoy her life and not let this illness get the best of her.
I think she just had some things to get done before it was time to go the arms of Jesus.
She is now in heaven dancing to the music.
She is in peace and in some way that is to help you all feel better. She is no longer in pain.
You have a life time of very good and happy memories. Think of them often.
Hold her close to your heart. Hug each other often. and don’t be afraid to cry.
And remember that one day you will all be together dancing to the music.
We send our love and prayers
