My thoughts and prayers are with you and John would have said the same.Sincerely, Cathy Durley
I first met Herb in June of 1989. He was retiring from Laurier S.S.after 17 years of teaching auto mechanics there.I was his replacement and was as green as grass. Herb was a willing mentor and always had a kind word for his students. His personal faith was evident in how he treated his kids. He would stop by from time to time to see how I was doing, which I appreciated. I’m still at Laurier after 20 years and I still refer to his binder of lessons that he gave me. His legacy lives on. I was sorry I wasn’t able to attend the visitation tonight and I’m not able to attend the service tomorrow due to my timetable. I will always appreciate Herb’s influence in my life. Godspeed Herb, I’ll see you again.
We were sorry to hear that you, Marie are left to face life without Herb. We all know he is in a better place and he has finished the race triumphantly but our thoughts and prayers will be for you Marie.
