My sincere sympathy in the loss of Eunice.
I will remember her enjoying being taken for walks outside in the summer and her gentle smile.
To the members of Eunice’s family, which is mine as well, know that I am saddened by her passing. It reflects the ending of an era which included my father, Bert Spettigue. God Bless.

Bob, Don, Paul and families, I’d like to extend my condolences on the loss of Eunie. I can remember going to her house with my Grandma when I was little. In later years she loved to have us over to play games. She was a good tutor and helped a lot of children. Sandra Pusey, Gayle and Dan Twan
Eunice had a little saying she would say after having spent a particularly memorable day: “Ah Donna,” she would say, “This has been a day for my memory book.”
Praise God for the life of Eunice Spettigue. If ever God sent anyone to Earth to reflect His light and love in this world it was her. What a blessing it was to have known her and to have counted her as a treasured friend. What a blessing it will continue to be to hold the memory of her warmth, wisdom and humour in our minds. May these memories be ever held dear in all our hearts.
THANK YOU Eunice for the countless wonderful pages YOU have filled in OUR memory books.
With my heartfelt condolences to the extended Spettigue Family.
Sincerely,
Donna Gage

“We wish to express our sympathies to the family of Eunice Spettigue on her passing on October 10th at the age of 95. Her innovative ideas in 1951 were key in getting Calvary Nursery School started. It began as a parent drop-in program, developed into a half day nursery school program, and has continued to provide quality preschool education ever since. That’s 58 years for Calvary ! ! ! Wow ! ! !”
