As a member of the AA community, Ruth was an integral member of the St. Joe’s morning meeting. Her spirit and good-humour as the “chip-munk” was always appreciated and I am sure anyone who received a chip from Ruth was doubly-blessed – to have sobriety and to have collected a chip from Ruth.
She will be sorely missed in the fellowshp.
The chipmunk gave me my 24 hour chip in April 2007 – it’s still working! I will never forget that day or her smile. RIP Ruth.
I would like to offer my sympathy to Ruth’s family. I am sorry for your loss. I also extend my appreciation for the kind, faithful and loving service(s) done for Ruthie by her long time helper, Bobby D. I know he truly cared for and about Ruth. I want to thank him for his help. God Bless you Bobby.
I’d like to offer my heartfelt sympathy to the family. My thoughts are with you.
Ruth was the most caring an loving person I have ever known. No one loved cats more than Ruth. She was a very big part of my family for over 20 years, and was always there for us in some very tough times.I know right now she is probably fussing over Matt and Bob(cats)and lighting candles.Ruth would do anything to help other people, was loved by all,and will be greatly missed. There is a special place in heaven for Ruth.
