I would like to express my condolences to Judy Sykes and family. Judy and I are close friends through our SOSBIS womens group and I share her sorrow. Judy spoke of her mom and family often as we are both from the same place (London) and same name only mine “ie”. My thoughts are with you and your family in your time of grief.
Diane: So sorry to hear about your Mother’s passing. I know you and Bill spent alot of time with her and how she liked to play cards. We were lucky enough to meet her several times and also when she came with both of you to our home in Dartmouth NS for a visit, we truly enjoyed her company. She will surely be missed by all her family but she was also a lucky lady to have had such a long, healthy and happy life. Wish we were not so far away so we could be present for her funeral services but our love goes to all of you .

I am a recent student (June 2009) at Dearness Home. Jeannette was one of my first residents that I cared for. She was a very special lady.
My thoughts are with her family at this time.

Wonderful memories of a wonderful lady and grandma. Always kept me fed, and loved counting her cards in French! I remember sitting at the kitchen table with her like it was yesterday. I am happy she was able to live such a long life and that she will be with Grandpa once again. Love Sean.
Great memories of Grandma. Cards, gardening, drives, and the neighbour’s bunny. I think all the grandchildren are proficient in counting in French for Grandma! Too many years and too many miles but very fond happy memories. Love Teri
