Gone to be with Our Lord, Alfred “Alf” B. Day of London, in his 89th year, on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Norththumberland Hills Hospital Cobourg, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Lenore (Carter) Day (2006). Predeceased by his two brothers Lewis Day and his wife Monty and Ken Day and his wife Evelyn and his brother-in-law Jack Carter and his wife Marie. Dear uncle of Maureen (Judith), Nancy (Dan), Linda (Ed), Lewis (Debbie), Barb (Jim), Carol (Ray), and John. Alf was always interested in catching up on “the happenings” of his nieces and nephews (great and great-great). Friends will be received by the family from one hour prior (12noon – 1pm) on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the memorial service will be conducted in the chapel at 1:00 pm with Reverend Robert W. Wilson officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to charity of choice. Online condolences accepted at www.amgfh.com
