MOULIN, Pierre Jean-Marie Marcel
At Parkwood Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday April 6, 2009 Pierre “Peter” Jean-Marie Marcel Moulin of London in his 93rd year. Long time partner of Gladys Lillian (Payne) Moulin. Dear father of Dwight Moulin and wife Shelby, Carolyn Naus and husband John, Heather Roch and husband Armand and Brenda Lee Serres and husband Michael. Loved grandfather of Jana, Tamara, Kimberley and Mark Moulin, Jeff Northey and wife Amy, Jodi Halsema and husband Dave and Andrew James (A.J.) Naus, Michael and Adam Roch, Amanda and Sean Serres. Also missed by his great granddaughter Avery Marie Halsema and survived by his sister Lucy Therens. Predeceased by his son Steven Moulin, granddaughter Kelly Northey and his cherished friend Evelyn Harker. Our dad was a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. Peter was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, the War Medal 1939-45 and also the Royal Canadian Air Force “Operational Wings”. Friends will be received by the family on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 46 Cathcart Street, London on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, 620 Colborne Street, sUITE 301, London, ON N6B 3R9 would be appreciated. The family sends a special thank you to the 6th floor Palliative Care team and staff at University Hospital and to Parkwood Hospital for their exemplary care and compassion.
