I will always remember Uncle Brain as such an intelligent man who always loved his classical music in the background. Thinking of your family during this difficult time. Love always, Angie
Dear Susan and family,
Over the last 30 years I always remember Brian as being Susan’s close confidante. He had the greatest admiration for his wife and trusted her maternal instincts. When I think of Brian, I knew him to be passionate about his gardening, nature, classical music and having a respect for cultural differences. Iwas proud to have him represent our country as an ambassador for Canada when engaged in inspections of nuclear energy plants worldwide. Brian was a devoted husband and companion to his wife Susan as they shared a full life of enriching adventures abroad and at the domestic front. Brian’s perserverance, determination and courage were steadfast during his battle with Parkinson’s. May the loving memories of your husband, father and grandfather last forever.
Much Love,
Gabriele
Hello Sue & Family:
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Brian — its hard to believe he is gone.
Next time I’m in London I’ll drop in to see you. My sister, Judy Laframboise lives in London and sometimes I’m down there for a visit.
We are going to a family reunion in Barrie from May 7-10, so cannot attend the church service for Brian.
See you in the near future.
Dear Sue, Heather Sarah & Andrew- We are so very sad to hear of your loss, please accept our heartfelt sympathies at this very difficult time. Sincerely, Carol, Bob And famoly.

During my university days in Ottawa, I would occasionally spend a day or two with Aunt Susan and Uncle Brian. I always looked forward to a get-away from student living. I have very fond memories of Uncle Brian sharing his knowledge and stories about the various countries he had visited. His love of traveling was inspiring. He will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathies go out to Susan, Heather, Sarah, and Andrew at this sad time.
Our most sincere condolences to Sue and family at this very sad time. When Brian and Sue lived in Kanata, the four of us would attend the monthly Kanata Parkinson’s meetings, and the two men always kept very positive outlooks about their conditions. Brian and David used to discuss their personal experiences in dealing with Parkinson’s Disease.
Much love to all of you, from David and Gayle.
My deepest condolences. I remember Brian from our two years together at the Royal Military College taking our Chemical Engineering training. Brian was always a true gentleman.

My most recent memory of Brian was at our Old Brigade Dinner. Showing the courage that he displayed in life, and despite his difficult condition, Brian rose to call out his College number during the roll call. Our condolences go out to his family, he will be remembered.

Dear Susan, Heather, Sarah and Andrew
Brian lived the CMR-RMC motto — Truth, Duty, Valour.
He was very brave facing a daunting disease that took his life far too soon.
We’ll say a special prayer and farewell to Brian at our next reunion in 2010.
May God smile on you all in these difficult times.
Len Kubas, CMR-RMC 4778
