At Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, March 27, 2009 Richard “Dick” Oakley McElheran formerly of Emery Street, London in his 87th year. Loved uncle of Elizabeth McElheran and her husband Fred Gabrsek of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Dear brother-in-law of Freida McElheran of Oakville. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Winnifred McElheran and his brother George McElheran. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 3-6 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London (519-433-5184). The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 11:00 am with The Very Reverend Terrance A. Dance officiating. Interment in the Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Meals on Wheels London, 356 Queens Avenue, London, ON N6B 1X6 would be appreciated. A Masonic Service under the auspices of St. Johns Masonic Lodge No.209a A.F. & A.M. will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 6:00 pm.
