With great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Irma Mary (Molnar) Nixon, who left us peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2009, in her 85th year. Irma battled Alzheimer’s for seven years with courage, grace and humour. Beloved wife of the late Robert Nixon, she will be fondly missed by her children Nancy Morris and Rick Nixon, and their spouses Dave Morris and Judy Fletcher, and affectionately remembered by her cherished grandchildren Brett and Massey Morris. She is survived by her sisters Margaret Perkins and Laura Bucsis, and predeceased by siblings James Molnar, Matilda Molnar, Rudolph Molnar, Julius Molnar and Rose Bucsis. The family would like to thank Sunrise of Unionville for their compassionate and excellent care. Friends will be received at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London from 7 to 9 pm Thursday. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am.
