Dear Rich,
From our teenage years on, I never knew a genter spirit than yours. All the punk rockers, hip hoppers and B-boppers are already sad to know that we won’t see you until we are all with you again. And then, we will have the greatest jam session ever in history. Love you, Rich. You made me smile, even when I was younger, louder, and really stupid about the world. You are missed. You always will be, until we meet again.
Yours in solidarity forever,
Rob Salter

I’ve often wondered how Rich is doing and what he’s been up to in the 20 years that I’ve been away from London, but this isn’t how I wanted to find out. I got to know him fairly well in the ’80’s – not nearly as well as some people, but well enough to know that I liked him very much. He was a great guy who got a raw deal that he didn’t deserve. I hope it’s all smooth sailing from here on.
Deepest sympathies,
Chris

I didn’t know you well back in the day and we all moved on into the circle of life. I bid you farewell and may you soar above this mortal plane, free and unemcumbered

I’ve known Rich through my brother since they both were in kindergarten. I hope he is at peace. He had a great, creative spirit.

Rich, you were alway’s a kind soul to reckon with. I recently saw a picture of you on a Ferry on someones profile, this is the way I will remember you. Travelling somewhere far and mysterious. R.I.P.
