RENWICK, JEAN HASTIE

Miss Jean Renwick, formerly of Durham, passed away peacefully at Grand Wood Park Retirement Home, London on February 8, 2009. Born in Dromore, Ontario in 1911 daughter of the late Kathleen (Dixon) and Robert Renwick. Sadly missed by nieces Pat and Judy and nephews David, Bob and Neil and sister-in-law Ellen Renwick. Predeceased by brothers Walter, George, Herb, Bob, Bill, sisters Kathleen, Helen and sisters-in-law Jean Renwick of Durham and Anne Renwick of Peterborough.Jean was a Registered Nurse and worked in many hospitals in Ontario. Jean and her family moved from Durham to London (638 Percy Street) in 1952. Jean nursed at Westminster Hospital looking after many war veterans until she retired. Friends will be received by the family after 12:00 pm on Friday, February 13 ,2009 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the complete funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday at 1:00 pm with Reverend Gordon Duncan officiating.
